Yes, a refundable security deposit is collected at vehicle pickup by credit or debit card. The deposit amount varies by vehicle category and is shown during the booking process. It is returned within 7 working days after the vehicle is returned in its original condition with no new damage.

You can purchase additional insurance directly from our website under “Liability Reduction Option (LRO)”. Purchasing insurance is optional, but we highly recommend you to do so.

Yes. JohorBook supports one-way rentals with pickup at Senai International Airport (JHB) and return at a different location, including cities outside Johor. Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as at pickup. Fuel type varies by vehicle - most of our fleet runs on petrol, while the Hyundai Staria uses diesel. Fuel type is specified on each vehicle listing. If you return with a lower fuel level, the difference will be deducted from your security deposit.
